Website use and availability
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping and information. You must not interfere with its security, misuse content or attempt unauthorised access. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when reasonably necessary.
Products, images and measurements
We aim to describe materials, colour, size, pile, backing and care accurately. Screen settings and lighting can affect colour appearance. Textile products may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances, which will be stated where relevant. Images are illustrative and do not form a guarantee beyond the written description.
Some rugs may be vacuum packed. Temporary creases or compression marks should normally reduce after the rug is unpacked and left flat. This does not limit your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Prices, payment and taxes
Prices and any applicable taxes will be shown in pounds sterling. Delivery charges and the final total must be shown before payment. Available payment methods will appear at checkout. Optional extras will not be preselected.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement is not acceptance unless it clearly says otherwise. A contract is formed when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation. We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance for stock, pricing, payment, fraud-prevention, delivery or legal reasons and will refund any amount taken.
Stock, promotions and discount codes
Products are subject to availability. Promotions may include eligibility, dates, stock and single-use restrictions displayed with the offer. Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined unless stated.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Delivery options, costs and estimates shown at checkout form part of the order. Consumers normally have 14 days after receiving eligible goods to notify us of cancellation, followed by another 14 days to return them. Exclusions apply only where the law permits. The Returns and Refund Policy gives the process and does not limit rights for faulty goods.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact us promptly with the order number and evidence where reasonably requested. We will provide an appropriate remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law. We will not require you to pay necessary return costs for goods that are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied.
Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. Timing depends on the reason for return and payment provider. Where required, the original standard delivery charge will be refunded; premium delivery upgrades may not be fully refundable.
Intellectual property
Website design, copy, imagery, trademarks and other materials belong to OHS Essential or their respective licensors. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission.
Liability and events outside our control
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products where liability cannot be excluded, or your statutory rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase. We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, but we will contact affected customers and take reasonable steps to reduce impact.
Law, complaints and contact
